NOTICE OF AWARDS
At its special meeting on May 6, 2025, the Bergen County Workforce Development Board (Bergen WDB) voted to award Greater Bergen Community Action the contract for WIOA Title I In-School and Out-of-School Youth Services Provider as identified in the Request for Proposals issued on February 26, 2025.
This notice serves as official notification of the Bergen WDB’s selection of Greater Bergen Community Action, 392 Main St, Hackensack, NJ 07601, for the contract period of July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026 (with the potential to extend for three additional one-year periods) for the following services, contingent upon the execution of written contracts and pursuant to the proposals submitted in response to:
WIOA Title I In-School and Out-of-School Youth Services Provider (#BC-RFP-25-008). The anticipated first-year funding is $460,000 for In-School Youth Services and $1,390,000 for Out-of-School Youth Services and is supported by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL) through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). 100% of these services are financed through federal funding sources and are contingent upon the availability of federal and state funds allocated to the Bergen County Workforce Development Board (Bergen WDB).
Contract will be posted upon execution.
At its special meeting on May 6, 2025, the Bergen County Workforce Development Board (Bergen WDB) voted to award Arbor E&T LLC dba Equus Workforce Solutions contracts for One-Stop Operator, WIOA Title I Career Services Provider, and WorkFirst New Jersey (WFNJ) Services Provider, as identified in the Request for Proposals issued on February 26, 2025.
This notice serves as official notification of the Bergen WDB’s selection of Arbor E&T LLC dba Equus Workforce Solutions, 9510 Ormsby Station Rd STE 104, Louisville, KY 40223, for the contract period of July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026 (with the potential to extend for threeadditional one-year periods) for the following services, contingent upon the execution of written contracts and pursuant to the proposals submitted in response to:
(1) One Stop Operator (#BC-RFP-25-006). The anticipated first-year funding is $150,000 and is supported by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL) through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). 100% of these services are financed through federal funding sources and are contingent upon the availability of federal and state funds allocated to the Bergen County Workforce Development Board (Bergen WDB).
(2) WIOA Title I Career Services Provider (#BC-RFP-25-007). The anticipated first-year funding is $4,500,000 and is supported by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL) through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). 100% of these services are financed through federal funding sources and are contingent upon the availability of federal and state funds allocated to the Bergen County Workforce Development Board (Bergen WDB).
(3) WorkFirst Services Provider (#BC-RFP-25-009). The anticipated first-year funding is $400,000 to support Work First New Jersey services for the TANF population and $400,000 to support Work First New Jersey services for the GA and GA/SNAP populations. Funding for this contract is supported by the State of New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s Work First New Jersey funds. The federal government allocates 100% TANF funds, and the state government allocates 100% GA/SNAP funds. 100% of these funding sources are contingent upon the availability of federal and state funds allocated to the Bergen County Workforce Development Board (Bergen WDB).
Contracts will be posted upon execution.
NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING BERGEN COUNTY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD
Please take notice that in accordance with the provisions of New Jersey’s Open Public Meeting Act, the Bergen County Workforce Development Board will hold a Regular Meeting on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 8:30 AM in-person and streamed live via Zoom. The in-person meeting shall take place in the Moses Center at Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ 07652 – Parking Lot B, Technology Building Room 128. For Zoom access, contact the Board office at 201-343-8830 or wdb@bergen.org. Formal action may be taken on any matters. The agenda, to the extent currently known, will be posted here.
