The Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) youth program provides FREE educational and employment services for eligible youth (16-24) not attending school.
We work with you in a supportive environment to develop a customized plan to explore alternative career paths, pursue education and occupational training, gain work experience, and secure employment.

ARE YOU SUDDENLY THE PRIMARY SOURCE OF INCOME IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD?
This situation may result from divorce, separation, death, or the disability of a spouse or partner.
In many cases, displaced homemakers are underemployed and need help to support themselves or their children.
After losing a primary source of income, displaced homemakers often need to return to the workforce.
We can help you become financially self-sufficient by providing education, job readiness training, network coaching, outreach, referrals, emotional support, and more.
WE CAN HELP YOU START BUILDING A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
Did you know you could be receiving more benefits?
The WorkFirst NJ TANF & GA/SNAP Employment and Training Programs are voluntary programs that help you become self-sufficient through job training, adult education, work activities, job placement, and additional support services.
Work is the first step toward building a new life and a brighter future. And we will work with you in a supportive environment to help you get there!
EMPLOYMENT IS FOR EVERYONE
Individuals with a physical, mental, cognitive, or other form of disability that makes it hard to find employment and secure a job may qualify for the following services through the New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS). Our goal is to help you become more independent and to return to work as soon as possible in a job compatible with your abilities.
HAVING DIFFICULTY OBTAINING EMPLOYMENT BECAUSE OF SOMETHING NEGATIVE IN YOUR PAST?
Have you been incarcerated, have an arrest or misdemeanor conviction, or been dishonorably discharged from the military and need employment assistance?
Are you considered a “risky” job candidate because of a poor credit score or an irregular work history?
Our programs provide a pathway for reentering the workforce and focus on essential tools such as job training, employment counseling, and job search and placement assistance.
Plus, the Federal Bonding Program gives employers peace of mind by insuring them against risks.
HELPING MATURE WORKERS GET BACK TO WORK WITH WORK-BASED TRAINING
The Easterseals Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP 55+) empowers low-income, unemployed individuals aged 55+ to achieve economic independence through work.
Eligible job seekers are matched with local nonprofits and public agencies to gain experience, skills, and self-confidence though an “earn while you learn” program, which may lead to permanent employment.
