Sealed Competitive Contracting Proposals will be received by the County of Bergen on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. prevailing through the County of Bergen’s Bonfire E-Procurement system accessible at www.bergenbids.com for the provision of

  • BC-RFP-25-006 One Stop Operator

    The estimated total funding available for the One-Stop Operator contract is $150,000 for the first year (PY25-26) of the initial contract term. Funding for this contract is supported by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL) through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). 100% of these services are financed through federal funding sources and are contingent upon the availability of federal and state funds allocated to the Bergen County Workforce Development Board (Bergen WDB).

  • BC-RFP-25-007 WIOA Title I Career Service Providers

    The estimated total funding available for the Career Services contract is $4,500,000 for the first year (PY25-26) of the initial contract term. Funding for this contract is supported by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL) through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). 100% of these services are financed through federal funding sources and are contingent upon the availability of federal and state funds allocated to the Bergen County Workforce Development Board (Bergen WDB).

  • BC-RFP-25-008 WIOA Title I Youth Service Providers (In-School and Out-of-School)

    The estimated total funding available for the In-School Youth Service contract is $460,000 for the first year (PY25-26) of the initial contract term. The estimated total funding available for the Out-of-School Youth Service contract is $1,390,000 for the initial contract term. Funding for this contract is supported by the United States Department of Labor (USDOL) through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). 100% of these services are financed through federal funding sources and are contingent upon the availability of federal and state funds allocated to the Bergen County Workforce Development Board (Bergen WDB).

  • BC-RFP-25-009 Work First New Jersey Service Providers: Case Management and Program Operations

    Bergen County expects to have $400,000 to support Work First New Jersey services for the TANF population and $400,000 to support Work First New Jersey services for the GA and GA/SNAP populations for the first year (PY25-26) of the initial contract term. Funding for this contract is supported by the State of New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s Work First New Jersey funds. The federal government allocates 100% TANF funds, and the state government allocates 100% GA/SNAP funds. 100% of these funding sources are contingent upon the availability of federal and state funds allocated to the Bergen County Workforce Development Board (Bergen WDB).

Specifications and instructions to bidders may be obtained through the County website at www.BergenBids.com.  Please note RFP Proposals are only accepted through the Bonfire E-Procurement Platform.

All Bid Addenda will be issued on the website. Therefore, all interested respondents should check the website from now through bid opening. It is the sole responsibility of the respondent to be knowledgeable of all addenda related to this procurement.

Bidders shall comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17-27 et seq.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD CONTRACT PURSUANT TO THE COMPETITIVE CONTRACTING PROCESS

The Bergen County Workforce Development Board (the “Bergen WDB”) advertised a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for a contract to procure a vendor to provide Project Management services for the WorkFirst New Jersey (WFNJ) Innovations Initiative to monitor, provide reporting and analysis of the delivery of programmatic outcomes and fiscal expenditures as delineated in the RFP.

Pursuant to said advertisement, one (1) response was received from: Charles Wallace & Associates, 2A John Tyler Court, Monroe, NJ 08831.

It is the intent of the Bergen WDB to make a contract award to Charles Wallace & Associates for said Project Management Services not to exceed $50,000 for the period commencing as of the date that the contract is awarded through June 30, 2025.

The WorkFirst New Jersey (WFNJ) Innovations Initiative is supported by the Bergen County Workforce Development Board (BCWDB) and Atlantic County Workforce Development Board (ACWDB) with 100% with Department of Labor funding totaling $890,000 with 0% financed from non-governmental sources.

BERGEN COUNTY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD – NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD CONTRACT

Notice of intent to Award Contract under the Work First New Jersey/Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (WFNJ/TANF) Innovations Initiative.

Contract period shall commence upon the adoption of resolution and terminate on June 30, 2025.

It is the intent of the Bergen County Workforce Development Board (WDB) to make a contract award to Communication Across Barriers pursuant to the proposals submitted in response to the Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for Program Management and Administration, and Community Outreach, Case Management, Trauma Informed Coaching AND Trauma Informed Coaching Training, Trauma Informed Coach Mentorship, Trauma Informed Coaching.

Comment period ends December 16, 2024.

Pursuant to the Open Public Meetings Act, notice is hereby given that the Bergen County Workforce Development Board will hold its regularly scheduled Public Board Meeting On Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in person. All Board meetings are scheduled to start at 8:30 am. This meeting will take place in the Bergen Community College Moses Meeting & Training Center
